Certified Transmissions
If the transmission on your vehicle starts to act or sound strange, a company I trust to diagnose and fix the problem is Certified Transmissions.
Why? We have thoroughly investigated the business practices of Certified Transmissions, and the way they treat their customers. And as a result, I am proud to endorse this company as Gephardt Approved!!
I spent some time with Manager Larry Bloodworth and President Lorraine Myers. Larry will tell you that a transmission shop is the last place anyone wants to go. But I will tell you when the need arises, Certified Transmissions is a place I would choose because I know very little about transmissions. I am very confident Larry (who has been a transmission specialist since 1973) and his technicians will properly, and do only what is necessary. Larry told me his goal is to repair or replace a transmission when necessary to make it better and stronger than the transmission was when the car left the factory brand new.
And, I believe him. With his 5 year, 50,000 mile warranty, (Larry says it’s the industry’s longest hassle-free warranty) it means that Larry does not expect to see that particular transmission ever again. But it also means that his customers will send their friends, family, and neighbors to Certified Transmissions in the future. Indeed, those endorsements is where Larry says he gets a lot of his business (add my name to the list).
Based on our investigation, I believe Larry when he says, “Our vision is to demystify transmissions by eliminating the unknown, by running a transparent operation. Our goal is to take ownership of the transmission, and have our customers understand it might be their vehicle, but it’s our transmission.”
I think Larry Bloodworth has a unique approach: “We make the customer part of the repair. They see what we’re doing, they know what we’re doing. We have on-line and showroom show-and-tell. There are no surprises, no mystery.”
And, when it comes to money, Larry promises his estimates are written in stone. “If we find something else wrong with the transmission, or another bad part that’s not on the estimate, we eat it. We don’t sell it, or charge extra for it.”
Larry says all of that is just part of his customer service, and I can find absolutely nothing to dispute his commitment to his customers.
So, Certified Transmissions. Now you know why I trust them. Now you know why I choose to stand behind them, and you now know why I am proud to endorse Certified Transmissions as Gephardt Approved.
