Auto Collision Repair

“He fixed it so it looked better than it did before the accident!!”

Von Hokanson is talking about the time he took his car to Chris Bogden, the owner of A.U.T.O. Collision in Sandy.

“He did the work for about half the price of some other body shops I visited,” adds customer Christian Gomez.

Indeed, in our background investigation of A.U.T.O. Collision in Sandy, we found support for the ravings of customers. We found no customer complaints, lawsuits, or any other problems. So, if you are seeking a company I have investigated and I trust for auto collision work, you can turn to A.U.T.O. Collision. We not only looked at the way they treat their customers, but also licensing, state and federal courts, and a host of other records. As a result, I am proud to stand by and endorse A.U.T.O. Collision in Sandy and declare the company Gephardt Approved.

“…relax. We’ve got it. The worst part is over…”

-Shelby Strubel, Estimator, A.U.T.O. Collision

“I do enjoy what I do,” owner Chris Bogden told me. “A good day is when everything goes smoothly.”

Chris says that he prefers a personal connection with every customer, even while walking them through the rather impersonal process required by insurance companies. “It is a personal touch. Many body shops do a good job, but I focus on the personal touch. We’re going to listen. We’re going to listen to what your needs are.”

“Absolutely,” declares customer Christian Gomez. “I first chose A.U.T.O. Collision because the reviews were great. But when I got there, it felt like home. It didn’t feel like a big business trying to screw you over. It felt, like, very homey.”

If you visit the company, the first person you’ll see is estimator Shelby Strubel. “This is more than a body shop,” says Shelby. “This is an emotional shop.”

She says when people first visit, they can be emotional and suspicious. They have just been rear-ended, or in some other sort of accident. “They’re upset. They’re confused. They don’t understand the process of insurance or repair. They don’t know what is ahead for them.

“That is what Chris and I are here for. We take care of all that. I assist in rental car scheduling and transportation. I update them on every step of the repair. Soon, our customers realize they can relax. We’ve got it. The worst part is over. They’ll be taken care of.”

“…I try to make a personal connection…”

-Chris Bogden, Owner, A.U.T.O. Collision

Regarding that whole insurance issue, especially for people who have never been in an accident, Chris has the experience to deal with all of them. “You have a right to choose your repair shop, legally, nationwide. Even if we are not on your insurance company’s repair program, you have the right to bring it to us.

“Each insurance company has its own set of guidelines, and we will work with the insurance companies to get the best we can for the customer. But…we never bill a customer for something the insurance company won’t pay for. Instead, we work it out with the insurance company.”

“I just think he’s honest,” says Judy Hokanson. Judy and Von say they now take their car to A.U.T.O. Collision all the time for little nicks, dings, and dents. “Chris is really a nice guy, and he does the work for literally about a third of the price of other shops.”

“You can never tell it’s been repaired,” says Von.

“He gave an honest opinion,” says Christian.

“We just think he’s honest,” says Judy.

All that talk delights owner Chris Bogden, because he says that is precisely the culture he works to instill in his employees and his business. “I try to make a personal connection with each customer, because I like to keep my customers for a long time.”

Lots of shops have a customer just one time. But that’s not the goal of Chris. “I like to keep them coming back whenever they need a little body work done, you know, dents, scratches. It’s personal.”

So there you go: A.U.T.O. Collision in Sandy. Now you know what our independent background investigation of the company found, and now you know what we found customers are saying about this company. And, now you know why I am proud to endorse and stand by A.U.T.O. Collision in Sandy, and declare the company Gephardt Approved.
